Scene and be seen article in M by Maly's magazineFor the second consecutive year Elle Marie Hair Studio has participated in "Pink Hair for Hope," a national campaign that supports breast cancer research through the sales of pink hair extensions. Donors who contributed $10 or more to the National Breast Cancer Foundation received a real pink hair extension strand to be applied by one of Elle Marie's certified hair extensionists. According to the salon's owners, Lorry Green, Colleen Buck and Jody Bossert, the event, held during the month of October, drew more than 600 people, raised $6,500 and provided great exposure including a local front page news story and a news segment. "We wanted to support a cause and thought it would be fun," says Lorry. "Some of the staff have had people close to them who have battled cancer and it meant a lot to them."
