Amy was raised in Lynnwood, WA and graduated from the Gene Juarez Academy of Beauty in July 2006.

She always loved hair fashions and is intrigued by how hair can change the way someone feels about themselves.

In her spare time Amy loves to spend time with her family and friends and her dog, Rico. She enjoys makeup, dancing, fashion and shopping.

Amy's goal is to one day do hair for runway shows in New York.

When asked about her specialty, Amy states, "I don't feel as if I have a specialty. I just know how much I love to make the whole look from beginning to end."

"In October of last year, my sister in law got married. My husband, daughter and I needed a haircut. Amy was so great with us, and all the girls at Elle Marie were really helpful about my daughter. We got out of the salon with a great attitude and feeling awesome. For the wedding, Amy did my hair in an updo and everyone loved it! That day I received a lot of compliments. Because of that service and the way i feel afterwards, I will never change hair salons again!! You guys rock!!!"
