Brittani was born in Phoenix, Arizona. Her family remains there however she finds the people and weather here in the northwest much more appealing.

Brittani joined the Elle Marie team in the Spring of 2007. She received her cosmetology training at BJ's Beauty and Barber College in Puyallup. Upon completion, she worked at a private salon under an internship specifically for over curly hair and chemically relaxed hair. She was then hired on and spent a year and a half there as a stylist. Longing to spend time with her family, she decided to give Arizona another shot. While there she enhanced her training as a cut specialist at a Toni and Guy salon. She has since become certified in thermal straighteners and relaxers as well.

During her youth she was a military child spending seven years in Kaiserslautern, Germany - 2 hours from Frankfurt. She loved the culture and also took the opportunity to travel all over Europe. Her favorite destination was Turkey. "I went there for spring break one year. Met a restaurant owner and he told us to come over to his restaurant later that night and he would have a party for us...and he did just that...a big Turkish party!"

In her spare time, Brittani loves to shop! "I shop for clothes and shoes...LOVE clothes and obsessed with shoes! And I love just hanging out with family and friends. Out of the party scene...been there, done all that when I lived in Germany. Now I'm just 'real chill'."

Brittani has a tattoo under her forearm that begged an inquiry during her group interview at Elle Marie. She smiled and brought laughter to the room as she proudly displayed the artwork which incorporates a blowdryer and the word "COSMO". Nailed it! She is also always known around the salon as the girl who, when asked to rate her cutting skills from one to ten, smiled and in her own shy yet confident way said, "12!" She set the bar high for herself and we're holding her to it!

"I washed my hair this morning and let it air dry (with some product). It is almost dry now, and is very soft with no frizz and more relaxed curl. Feels really good!! Everyone loved my straight hair yesterday, and even though I had it in a pony tail most of the weekend didn’t even really have a kink in it when I finished it with a flat iron yesterday. So far so good!!!"
