Whitney joined Elle Marie in October of '08 after having graduated at the top of her class at Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in Seattle. While gaining valuable experience in both creative cut and coloring techniques, she was a leader in her class organizing hair shows, scheduling guest trainers, and organizing salon demonstrations for the community.
Whitney's friendly, upbeat nature allows her to truly bond with her guests so as to understand their lifestyle and recommend looks that will leave them feeling confident that their look perfectly matches their personality.
Whitney grew up in Edmonds and attended Meadowdale High School where her friends always flocked to her for free hairdos prior to school dances. With a strong creative side, she enrolled at Seattle Art Institute to study graphic design but soon realized that she had a passion for social interaction and could better express herself in the creative world of hair design.

"When my best friend and I entered the salon at random a week ago to look through style books, we had an idea we might take the plunge and cut off our long hair, however, we had no idea we would recieve such a friendly welcome and fantastic new styles. My family was surprised and loves my new look. Thank you for being so patient with me and my fearful state...it was a huge change and you made the transition so bearable and actually enjoyable.
