The Best of Western Washington results were posted recently and we are thrilled to find ourselves with a fourth place finish and an appearance in a completely new category! CityVoter, the company behind Evening Magazine’s Best of Western Washington contest on KING 5 TV recognizes the Top 5 finalists in each category. Elle Marie first appeared in the contest in 2008. We were ecstatic to crack the Top 5 in our first year placing 5th. In 2009 and 2010 we moved up with 4th place finishes in the Hair Salon category. In 2011 we experienced a bit of a hiccup falling out of the Top 5 with a still respectable 6th place finish. There may have been some confusion for voters as we pointed out the Hair Color category that we were also nominated in. So for 2012 we attempted to clarify things a bit more for our guests. The efforts paid off as we not only climbed back into the Top 5 for the Hair Salon category (576 nominees), but we finished in 4th place in the Hair Color category as well (154 nominees)!
